Our Policy

The 50/50 Split —
Fair & Transparent

When your piece sells, you receive exactly 50% of the final sale price. We keep the other 50% to cover our showroom costs, staffing, marketing, and website listing. That's it — no nickel-and-diming.

There are no listing fees, no floor fees, and no deductions for photography or staging. If your item doesn't sell, you owe us nothing. Zero. You simply pick it back up.

This model means our incentives are perfectly aligned — the more we sell your piece for, the more we both make. We're genuinely on your team.

Example: $400 Sale Price

You — $200 (50%)
Wood World — $200 (50%)

Applies to every sale, every time.

No listing fees
No floor fees
No photography fees
No charge if unsold

Consignment Period

The 60-Day Terms

Every consigned item gets a full 60-day window on our floor and website listing. Here's exactly what happens from day one to day sixty.

Day 1

Your Piece Goes on the Floor

We stage and list your item on our showroom floor and website at the starting price. Before you leave, we agree on two prices together: the starting price for the first 30 days, and a lower price that kicks in automatically at day 30. Everything is set upfront.

Day 30

Price Drops to the Lower Rate

Your item automatically drops to the lower price you agreed to at drop-off. No call, no surprise — this was all settled in person when you consigned. This lower price helps move pieces that haven't sold yet in the first half of the period.

Day 60

Consignment Period Ends

The 60-day period is up. We don't automatically call you — it's on you to reach out to us. If your item sold, get in touch and we'll add your name to our check list. If it didn't sell, just come by to pick it up at no charge.

Reach Out & Get Your Check

Once your item has sold and the consignment period ends, contact us and we'll get your name on our list for a check — 50% of the final sale price, no deductions.

No charges if your item doesn't sell

We never charge a floor fee, storage fee, or any other fee if your item goes unsold. You simply arrange a pickup and we part ways on good terms. Consigning with us is entirely risk-free for you.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What kinds of furniture do you accept?
We accept quality pre-owned furniture in good, clean condition — sofas, dining sets, bedroom furniture, outdoor pieces, accent chairs, tables, and more. We look for pieces that are solid, well-made, and in sellable condition. We do not accept heavily damaged, stained, or broken items.
What if my item doesn't sell in 60 days?
Once the 60-day period ends, just come by or give us a call — we don't automatically follow up with consignors at the end of the period. If your item sold during that time, reach out and we'll add your name to our check list. If it didn't sell, come pick it up at no charge. No fees, no awkwardness.
Can I set my own price?
We work collaboratively on pricing. When you bring in your piece, we agree on two prices together: a starting price for the first 30 days, and a lower price that takes effect automatically at the 30-day mark. This is all discussed upfront so there are never any surprises.
How do I get paid?
Once your consignment period ends, reach out to us and we'll get your name on our list for a check. We pay by check based on the price your item sold for. We don't automatically call consignors — it's on you to check in with us after the 60 days.
Are there any fees if my item doesn't sell?
No. If your item doesn't sell during the consignment period, you simply come pick it up — there are no listing fees, floor fees, or charges of any kind.
Can I drop off multiple pieces?
Absolutely. We accept multiple pieces at once, subject to space availability. Just mention everything you have when you submit so we can plan accordingly.
